A monolithic outdoor kitchen for the highest expectations in cooking, material quality and design
The project combines two very different thermal worlds within one single outdoor kitchen. On one side, a charcoal infrared grill that automatically ignites the charcoal through propane gas and is built for strong roasting notes, direct heat and a highly expressive cooking character. On the other side, a highly modern Teppanyaki system for precise Asian style cooking with controlled and powerful heat management.
With overall dimensions of 2500 × 600 mm, the kitchen was conceived as a compact yet highly capable system. The client wanted a clear monolithic appearance, technical confidence and a level of material quality able to perform visually and functionally at the highest level. At the same time, the construction was intentionally designed so that the beauty of the object can unfold best in a rain protected setting.
