Our projects do not start with a product. They start with an idea

At GFELLER DESIGN, the starting point is never a finished object taken from a drawer and slightly adjusted. The real starting point is the client’s idea, their use scenario, their spatial context and the level of material, function and atmosphere the project demands. From there, we develop a solution that is not assembled from standards but deliberately engineered.

Our projects begin with an ambition, a place, a function or a problem that cannot be solved by a standard product. From that starting point we develop an object specific solution with clear technical and visual logic.

Development with Inventor and FEM

Depending on the project, geometry, construction logic and technical feasibility are developed in Autodesk Inventor and supported through FEM calculation. This creates not an improvised one off, but a traceable engineered system with real substance.

Whenever it is strategically right for the brief, we work with local partners. This allows material, fabrication, surface treatment, specialist processes and installation to be brought together at a level that genuinely fits the ambition of the project.

Documentation, traceability and industrial discipline

Our projects are not only built. They are documented thoroughly. Depending on the application this may include technical drawings, calculations, material records, 3.1 certificates and further project specific documentation. This creates traceability, quality assurance and trust.
